Getting To Ardormie
Please see the video below on how to drive up the farm track. The driveway is half uneven tarmac, half rough track – so you will need a 4-wheel drive, van or car with good clearance. The track is not suitable for low sports cars or vehicles with low ground clearance.
Ardormie is nestled in the picturesque Vale of Strathmore, approximately 5 miles from the pretty town of Alyth and an additional 5 miles from Blairgowrie.
The vibrant city of Dundee, known as the City of Discovery, is a 30-minute drive away, while Perth is reachable within 35 minutes. Both cities offer a plethora of activities and attractions, including ample shopping opportunities.

From Perth
There are two routes to he Quarry Cottages at Ardormie:
Via A93: Follow signs for Blairgowrie. Continue through town, go over the bridge then take the A926 to Alyth.
At the Five Ways Roundabout and exit onto the B954 toward Glenisla. Pass the golf courses, turn right at the T-junction, and after approximately 3 miles, take the left fork signposted for Dykehead. After 30 meters, turn left onto a tarmac farm road marked with an Ardormie Farm sign.
Follow the farm road uphill for 1 mile; drive through the main steading past all the houses and farm buildings – then down to the Quarry Cottages at the far edge of the farm. See video below.
Via A94: Proceed through Coupar Angus toward Forfar. Just before Meigle, turn left onto the B954 toward Alyth, leading to the Five Ways Roundabout – then proceed as above.
From Glasgow Airport
Exit the airport onto the M8 eastbound. At Junction 8, take the M80/A80 toward Stirling, then follow signs for Perth via the A9.
Turn left at the Broxden Roundabout onto the A9 toward Inverness. At the Inveralmond Roundabout, continue on the A9, then exit at the first sign for Stanley.
Drive through Luncarty and Stanley, then turn right following signs to Blairgowrie. At the T-junction, turn right, cross the River Tay, then left onto the A93 to Blairgowrie. Continue with the directions from Perth via A93 as detailed above.
From Edinburgh Airport
Exit the airport, following signs to the M9 toward the Forth Road Bridge. Take the A8000 exit to the bridge (toll required), then continue on the M90 to Perth. Follow signs for Scone, Braemar, and Coupar Angus.
After crossing the Friarton Bridge, choose between the A93 through Blairgowrie or the A94 through Coupar Angus, and follow the respective directions as outlined above.
